Hans-Georg MundhenkeAcademic Interests
Hans-Georg joined the Centre for Strategy and Performance Measurement as a doctoral researcher in October 2008. He works under supervision of Dr Ken Platts focusing on Location-specific Manufacturing Technologies and their role within global Manufacturing Strategies. Prior to starting his PhD at the IFM, Hans-Georg worked for two years in the area of Strategy, Business Development and Supply-Chain-Management in various locations in Europe and Asia for Knorr-Bremse. He completed his degrees in Industrial Engineering at the University of Technology Berlin (TUB) as a "Diplom-Ingenieur" in April 2006 and in International Management as "Master ESCP-EAP" at the European School of Management ESCP-EAP Paris in May 2006. As a research student he also conducted research for the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology in Berlin from December 2003 to March 2006 in various Manufacturing Technologies.Hans-Georg served internships in Krupp-Elastomertechnik GmbH, Volkswagen AG, Airbus Deutschland GmbH in Germany and SMS Demag Inc. in the USA. |
