Hugo MallinsonResearch InterestsBackgroundHugo completed his MPhil with the Auto-ID Center in 2003. His research focused on the the relation between identity and location in automation systems, with a focus on HF RFID. his thesis was titled "Enhancing Identity with Location: A Study of the Behavior and Augmentation of RFID in an Automation Context." His current research is on modeling and understanding the behavior of RFID systems in industrial settings. A primary focus is investigating the relationship between RFID tags and the items which they are attached to, and how to quantify, predict, and optimize the position of tags on items. |
