Background

David Beeton joined the Centre for Technology Management in April 2003 and began working with David Probert and Robert Phaal to investigate the application of technology roadmapping to the packaging supply chain. David's first degree was a MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, which led him to take up a position in the Solid and Hazardous Waste Research Unit (SHWRU) at the same university. David received a MPhil for his main research interest with SHWRU; the utilisation of decision-support tools in the sustainable management of municipal waste.
