
Claire Weiller
Doctoral Student
Claire is a doctoral student at the Institute for Manufacturing with the Cambridge Service Alliance. Her PhD is jointly supervised by Andy Neely and Michael Pollitt (Judge Business School). She is also involved with the Electricity Policy Research Group.
Research interests
Claire’s research interests lie in energy policy and innovation in energy services. In particular, her PhD proposes to focus on the new business models that may arise from the R&D and commercialization of electric vehicles.
Background
Claire has been a member of St Catharine’s College since 2010. She completed the MPhil in Technology Policy at the Cambridge Judge Business School with a First Class degree. She holds previous degrees in Environmetrics and Energy Science & Technology.
Prior to coming to Cambridge, Claire has worked at the International Energy Agency in Paris, at the Electric Power Research Institute in Palo Alto, CA, and at an electric utility’s trading arm in Switzerland
