Dr Clemens Chaskel
Clemens is an Industrial Fellow at IfM Education and Consultancy Services (IfM ECS). He is working with medium and large organisations in all geographic regions, with a particular focus on German-speaking countries.
Clemens is interested in the link between technology and corporate strategy, and subsequently the roles that management processes and tools (e.g. roadmapping and portfolio management) play in establishing such an “integrated technology strategy”. Before joining IfM ECS, Clemens was a PhD student at the IfM’s Centre for Technology Management.
Previously, Clemens was working in the aerospace & defence sector and later joined a technology consultancy. His work included R&D process optimisation, requirements management and project management advisory. He was the head of several expert teams within the consultancy and was also involved in business development.
In addition to his PhD, Clemens also holds two Master degrees in Aerospace Engineering (MEng) and Industrial Systems, Manufacture and Management (MPhil) from Kingston University and the University of Cambridge respectively.
Clemens is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and a PRINCE2 Practitioner.
