Burcu Felekoglu

Burcu joined the Centre for Technology Management, Design Management Group at the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) as a doctoral researcher in January 2008. Under the supervision of Dr James Moultrie, her doctoral research focuses on top management involvement in new product development (NPD) and interaction mechanisms used between top management and NPD team. Her research is funded by the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey (YOK).

Background

Burcu holds a BSc (with honours) and MSc in Industrial Engineering, both from Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey. During summer breaks in her undergraduate study she worked at BOSCH Thermotechnik, ADECCO Service and Counseling, VESTEL Electronic and TUPRAS Izmir Rafinery in Turkey as an intern. She has been working as a research assistant in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Turkey since 2005.
