Background

Mechanical and production engineering, followed by 10 years in training and communication consultancy serving manufacturing companies before joining the University in 1992. Worked then for 8 years as part of the Manufacturing Strategy and Performance Measurement research project.

Now working within the Industry Links Unit of the Institute for Manufacturing, acting as 'Communications Officer' providing infrastructural support to the Institute as a whole.
