24th Annual Research Methodology Workshop

This event is specifically aimed at doctoral researchers. It seeks to equip participants with an appreciation of research design, methods, and how to overcome potential challenges on their programmes.

Overview

 

PhD candidates and early-stage researchers are often challenged with deciding on which methodology to apply in a given research project. And even after determining the methodology, then comes the issue with how to apply it. Advanced researchers on their part are constantly in need of a refresher or further insights on the use of methodology. In all, having a firm grasp of research methodology remains crucial for both beginner and advanced researchers.

 

In order to …

provide hands-on exposure to research design alongside the various methodologies used in technology-management-policy research projects;

where sessions are handled by accomplished experts;

with all sessions aggregated into an intensive and enjoyable two-day exercise;

and with abundant opportunity for networking and idea exchange;

in the historic community of the University of Cambridge;

… this year’s Research Methodology Workshop has been arranged.

 

It is ideal for:

First-year PhD students involved with technology/policy/management-related research, and

Senior Level PhD students or other researchers in similar areas.
