Types of membership

We currently offer four different membership groups and consortia to support companies in particular areas of their business:

  • Strategic Technology and Innovation Management (STIM) Consortium

The STIM Consortium is a practice-oriented research and networking collaboration between industrial member companies and the IfM's Centre for Technology Management.

  • Digital Supply Chains Consortium

The Digital Supply Chains Consortium brings together some of the world’s leading firms and academics, all of whom are focused on delivering the tools, education and insights needed for the supply chains of the future.

  • Open Innovation Forum

The Open Innovation (OI) Forum offers a programme of structured support and opportunity for companies from all stages of the Food and FMCG value chain. Open innovation is a paradigm that assumes that firms can and should use both internal and external ‘ideas’ and ‘paths’ to market, as the companies look to advance their technology.

  • SME Membership

IfM SME membership gives companies access to SME Member Training Workshops run by IfM researchers and practitioners. You'll also be able to access students who are interested in engaging with your company on research programmes, business improvement assignments or student projects.
