Essex Manufacturing Innovation and Growth ProgrammeThe Essex Manufacturing Innovation and Growth Programme (EMIG) offers practical, structured help for your business to achieve greater competitiveness and sustainable, long-term growth. The programme is carried out by an experienced manufacturing practitioner at your premises. It is designed to need as little time as possible from busy management and comprises three stages, typically requiring six days of practitioner involvement spread over several months. This fully funded programme provides an in-depth assessment of your business to identify significant issues:

Who can take part?A limited number of fully-funded places are available on the programme for companies with 10 to 250 employees. Who runs the programme?The Essex Manufacturing Innovation amp; Growth (EMIG) has been developed by the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) - part of the University of Cambridge Department of Engineering. It is funded by Essex County Council (ECC) and delivered through IfM Education and Consultancy Services (IfM ECS), University of Cambridge. The programme is delivered by IfM Education and Consultancy Services Limited, a company wholly-owned by the University and established for the purpose of disseminating the IfM’s research and education outputs to industry.
