Doctoral Symposium on ServiceTuesday 21 SeptemberRegistration at 09.30, 10.00 Start, 17.00 Close
If you can answer "Yes" to all these questions, we are looking forward to welcome you at the Doctoral Symposium on Service. The Doctoral Symposium on Service is an engaging, interactive professional experience designed to help participants successfully complete their doctoral dissertation and to assist students in publishing their dissertation in high quality journals. The Symposium will take place on Tuesday 21 September at Institute for Manufacturing, Cambridge. Who Should AttendThe Doctoral Symposium is designed to provide doctoral researchers in Service with the opportunity to present and discuss their research with peers and distinguished scholars engaged in the area of service. The event welcomes doctoral students with interests in all of the Service Science, Service Management, Service Marketing, Servitization and Service Systems areas, including economics, pricing, human resources, marketing, operations, engineering, technology and strategy. In the symposium, participants will briefly outline their research and then seek advice and feedback for urgent questions. Papers will be circulated prior to the symposium so that participants can familiarize themselves with the work of the others. The committee leading the symposium will choose a select number of proposals of high quality who would then be entitled to a full waiver of symposium fees. The winner of the Doctoral Symposium Best Proposal Award will be chosen amongst the selected proposals and will be announced at the end of the event.
