Grand Challenge Summit Meeting

Wednesday 22 September

Join us in Cambridge, UK for the Grand Challenge Summit meeting on the afternoon of Wednesday 22 September 2010.

The aim of the Summit is to review global trends in research, policy and practice in services. The summit, which is designed to be the highlight of the Cambridge services week, will consist of three parts:

  • First international delegations will be exhibiting the latest developments in services research, policy and practice. Research groups, Government agencies and businesses will all be invited to participate in this poster display.
  • Second, we will hear from three plenary speakers, each of whom will focus on global trends in services from specific perspectives. Professor Andy Neely, University of Cambridge, will talk about his latest research into the servitization of manufacturing, while senior speakers from BAE Systems and IBM will talk about international business developments in services.
  • Finally, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Cambridge will join the proceedings to launch officially the Cambridge Service Alliance. Following the Summit is the Grand Challenge week gala dinner at Christ’s College, limited places are available.
