A day of interactive sessions for senior industrialists presenting the latest research, practical approaches and application case studies from the Institute for Manufacturing

This intensive day is designed to highlight the opportunities and benefits of engaging with the Institute for Manufacturing to address key strategic and capability development issues.

It will be a chance to meet leading researchers in the fields of innovation and technology management, international networks, service, design management and strategy. They will present some of the IfM's latest research and education outputs.

The event will also showcase some of our recent industrial collaborations with interactive sessions given by members of the IfM’s team of experienced practitioners. The team works directly with companies to apply research-based tools and techniques.

There will be ample opportunity for questions and informal discussion to enable delegates to assess the relevance of topics to their own needs.

Programme

The day will commence at 09.30, and draw to a close at 17.00. A buffet lunch will be provided. There will also be the opportunity to have a tour of our industrial photonics laboratories.

The event will be split into a two parallel sessions designed to be of interest to large firms and multi-national companies.

Location

The Briefing Day will be held at the Institute for Manufacturing, 17 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge, CB3 0FS. There is easy access to the A14 and M11 and free car parking is available onsite. A map will be sent with confirmation of booking.
