Background

Yuan Zhou is from Beijing where he was a manager of Cascadia Capital (China), based in the technology commercialization & transfer practice. He was also (concurrently) an associate of the investment department of Tsinghua Science Park. Prior to that, Zhou Yuan was a manager at Nanyang Technopreneurship Centre, Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), involving in Graduate Diploma in Technology Entrepreneurship & Innovation Program and business entrepreneurship development activities.

Yuan Zhou also brings domain expertise in electronics and mechanical research & development, having served as project officer in a joint initiative (Robotics Research) between NTU and Singapore Technologies Co Ltd. Zhou Yuan holds a B.Eng and M.Sc in mechanical engineering and robotics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Zhou Yuan is also a graduate from joint post graduate diploma in Technology Entrepreneurship & Innovation Program from University of Washington and Nanyang Technological University.
