Dr Tomás HarringtonResearch interests
BackgroundTomás joined the IFM in March 2009 as a Research Associate, having previously worked in a series of senior design, integration and process engineering roles both with Littelfuse (formerly Harris semiconductor and a GE business unit) and most recently, Intel. His academic background includes a degree in Chemistry from University College Cork, a PhD in Electrochemistry from the University of Southampton (which involved developing fuel cell-type gas diffusion electrodes for environmental applications). In 2008, he graduated with an MBA (with distinction) from Glasgow Caledonian University, where his primary research interest involved developing service innovation tools, for which he received a prize from the Chartered Management Institute. |
