Doctoral researchManufacturing flexibility: achieving mix flexibility in the caribbean flour milling industry.BackgroundShellyanne Wilson joined the Centre for Strategy and Performance in 2004 as a PhD student working with Dr Ken Platts in the area of manufacturing strategy and implementation. Shellyanne had a BSc. in Chemistry and Management and a Msc. in Production Management, both from the University of the West Indies. She had industrial experience working with two of the large manufacturing companies in Trinidad and Tobago. She spent two years at Lever Brothers West Indies Limited, which is part of UNILEVER and five years at National Flour Mills Limited. Shellyanne completed her PhD in 2007 and is now working for the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT). |
