Sue joined the IfM-ECS in 2009 as a third party associate to reinforce the large company team in the area of in-company education and to work with the SME team as they expand their activities into the West Midlands. After completing ACPMM (now ISMM), Sue joined Alcan as a process development engineer, later moving to Warwick University Engineering Department and then Rennes Business School in France. Since 1996, still based in France, she has been self-employed, delivering supply chain-related education, training and consultancy to multi-nationals in many countries.

Sue holds a BSc in Metallurgy from Birmingham University and a PhD in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Warwick University. She is a visiting lecturer and dissertation supervisor at Helsinki School of Economics and ESC Rennes (France).
