Phil HansonBackgroundPhil Hanson spent twenty nine years at IBM, the last twelve years of which were spent leading the industrial sector management consulting practice. He joined IBM after an early career in the Ministry of Defence and the Dowty Group. He is the co-author with Prof Chris Voss at London Business School of the PROBE family of benchmarking tools which have been used by over 7000 organisations of all types worldwide. He is a fellow of the Institute of Electrical Engineers, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a freeman of the City of London and a visiting professor at Newcastle Business School. Phil has an engineering degree from the University of Loughborough and an MBA from Cass Business School. He also has a Diploma in Theology from the University of Oxford and an MA in Theology from the University of Nottingham. Current RolePhil is part of the IfM team that has been undertaking global manufacturing network design on behalf of major international industrial organisations. He is also engaged in the Manufacturing Leaders Programme. |
