Academic Interests

  • Development agencies supply network development policies and strategies for manufacturing sectors.
  • International and local supply network management for various manufacturing sectors.

PhD research

Dakshata's research aims to identify the role of UK's RDAs (The role of Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) in supply network development) in supporting the local supply networks development and how this can be best achieved.

Career background

Dakshata worked with General Motors (Thailand) Ltd. (2003 to 2006), in their Asia Pacific Headquarters. Before pursuing MBA degree in Thailand, with emphasis in International Business (2001-2003) she worked as an intern in the Asian Development Bank Nepal (2000).

Dakshata participated in the Bangkok Business Challenge 2003 along with 3 other team members from India and Thailand. She completed her bachelor's degree from Delhi University in 2000, where she was elected President of Fine Arts Society.
