David DelamoreResearchDavid's research focuses on conceptual models for dynamic systems. These are parametric mathematical models that are intended to help an engineer to gain insight into the most important relationships that underpin a system's dynamic behaviour. As a worked example, a conceptual model is being developed for considering the dynamic behaviour of wind turbines. Such models could be useful for conceptual design studies and for educational purposes. BackgroundDavid has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland (New Zealand). This included a one year student-exchange to McGill University (Montreal, Canada). |
