A ten-member delegation comprising senior civil servants from various administrative sections of the Government of Pakistan paid a visit to the IfM on 25 May.

All of the senior officials are currently taking the Executive Course at the National School of Public Policy in Pakistan. The purpose of the visit was to familiarise the course participants with the advancements in manufacturing and related management and policy challenges in the UK.

Professor Sir Mike Gregory welcomed them to the IfM and briefed them about different activities carried out here including education, research and outreach to industry and government.

Governmental sections represented by the visitors included, Railways and Transportation, Climate Disaster Management, Pakistan Administration Services, Provincial District Management, Rural & Tribal Areas Development, Aviation and Police. The head of the visiting team, Mr Shahid Rahim, expressed his desire to engage with the IfM for further collaboration in the areas of industrial development, policy and training.
