Chevening Technology Enterprise Scholarship (CTES) Programme

The CTES programme is a one-year post-doctoral programme for non-EU scientists and technologists, and is run by the Centre for Scientific Enterprise in London. The programme aims to deliver the skills to allow participants to be effective at technology transfer and the commercialisation of innovation, combining technology and business training with specific commercialisation projects.

The CTES Fellows are based at a wide range of U.K. universities to work on specific commercialisation projects. During their year in the U.K., all the Fellows are brought together to receive five separate one week modules of business training. CTM runs the fourth of these modules. The modules are:

  • Module 1: Introduction to Commercialising Technology (Imperial College)
  • Module 2: Market Opportunities for Technologies (London Business School)
  • Module 3: Routes to Commercialisation (London Business School)
  • Module 4: Technology Management in the Established Firm (Cambridge University Centre for Technology Management)
  • Module 5: New Venture Creation (London Business School)
