Technology Management - A Process Approach

Background

This project ran from Nov 94 - March 98 and took a process approach to technology management. The work was based on a high level framework involving processes for identification, selection, acquisition, exploitation and protection of technology. A methodology for assessing a company's technology management activities against this framework was developed and refined through pilot application in business units of collaborating companies. The assessment methodology is aimed at helping companies to reveal exisiting practice and thus identify areas for improvement.
