Abstract

For technology-based businesses, the challenge of creating and sustaining competitive advantage goes beyond the drive for cost reduction and operational efficiency. It depends critically on the organisation's ability to manage its technological assets. A framework is proposed which provides a sound basis for the development of a diagnostic tool to evaluate a company's technology management activities.
