Technology Management Network

Industry - Academic Network

This Network is coordinated by the Centre for Technology Management and was initially supported by the EPSRC. The Network builds on the industrial membership of the Centre and includes local high-tech companies and leading international researchers in technology management. The aims of the Network include identifying opportunities for innovative, collaborative research and stimulating exchange of ideas and techniques between academic and industrial groups.

Interests of Network members include:

  • innovation management and the technology implications of change
  • technology management through cultural change and reorganisation
  • valuing R&D and technology programmes
  • managing technology acquisition with respect to the business, its processes and people
  • outsourcing and technology management down the supply chain

The primary mechanism for supporting network interaction is through network meetings
