The Cambridge Technopole

The 'Cambridge Technopole' is a geographic area of intense high-technology innovation activity encompassing the City of Cambridge at its heart and the sub-regional Greater Cambridge hinterland of approximately 25 miles radius. It sits in the wider region of the East of England, one of the fastest growing regions in the UK. Much of this growth has been fuelled by the dynamism of the Cambridge Technopole area.

The Cambridge Technopole is now facing a number of emerging opportunities and challenges. The aim of this website is to provide access to a selection of useful resources to help support informed debate on this topic. A blog has also been setup to capture, share and discuss some of the diverse viewpoints relating to the future of the Cambridge high tech cluster.

This website is supported through the 'Developing Entrepreneurs' project based at St John's Innovation Centre and funded by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation.
